The work of MCC in Haiti is a collaborative effort of many people in many places working together. There are lots of ways to get involved in supporting our work here in Haiti, from joining our team as a volunteer, to participating in a learning tour, or contributing financially. We'd love to meet you! MCC Haiti offers a 6-day learning tour throughout the year, providing an opportunity for groups to get a first-hand look at the work of MCC and our partner organizations in Haiti. If you have a group interested in a learning tour to Haiti, please contact your local MCC office, or contact MCC Haiti. In 2017-2018, we are offering one learning tour theme:
MCCs development work in food and agriculture has deep roots. Meet Haitian farmers, marketers and cooks, and learn the importance of food in everyday life, from the soil up. Climb the steep mountains paths to see a local fruit tree nursery, visit a peanut processing cooperative, smell Haitian coffee beans roasting on an open fire, and learn about professional food preparation in Haiti from street youth enrolled in a culinary vocational school. Learn about the impact of food policy and purchasing choices on Haitian farmers and cooks and how to advocate for change.
Make a tax deductible donation to support our work in Haiti and around the world.
